Heeey! is a freelance designer and illustrator based in Italy. Bold lines and a limited color palette are his calling cards. His style is heavily influenced by pop culture, tattoos, and punk rock music. He expertly executes glyphs, logos, & icons and his imagery has a subtle humor to it, often with hidden meaning and metaphor. Currently, he works with brands and bands from all around the world.

A glimpse into the creative world of Heeey!

My style: bold lines, minimal colors, and light-shadow balance. I switched from traditional to digital with Procreate and Illustrator. Inspired by tattoos, pop culture, and punk rock; artists like Jimbo Phillips and Dan Mumford influence me. My creative journey began in university, leading to full-time illustration. I choose StickerApp for its ease and quality, preferring holographic and glow-in-the-dark materials.

StickerApp: How would you define your style?

Stefan: My style is defined by thick lines, few colors and a strong geometry with a continuous search for balance between light and shadow.

StickerApp: What's your favorite technique?

Stefan: Well before the great development of technology. My favorite technique was good old paper, pencil, and sharpie. Then as technology advanced more I would hand drawl my designs and then reworked them on the pc.Now it's 100% digital design, just Tablet and Laptop.

StickerApp: Who or what's your biggest inspiration?

Stefan: Definitely the world of tattoos and pop culture, punk rock imagery, video games and early skating; Among the artists who have influenced me most I would mention Jimbo Phillips and VC Johnson, Mark de Salvo, Dan Mumford, Jamie Browne.

StickerApp: How did it all start?

Stefan: I've always drawn all my life, but I started thinking about it as a job when I went to the University. To pay for my studies I started making small logos, contests, anything, up to working in a printing company, but I felt the need to create something of my own and I decided to work as an illustrator full time!
